Dr. Kuppakkat Divakaran is a consultant in Jyothisha Tantrika mantrika, Founder of Sree Siva Yogasramam Trust, Regd, and The Vishwa Veda Vidhyapeeth. He also writes for astrological magazines both in English and Malayalam. He is the Gem Consultant of Alukkas Jewellery. Once when he was traveling in a bus he got a feeling that the bus will meet with an accident. A few minutes later his prediction turned into reality. The bus upturned and he escaped with minor injuries. This event led him to the spiritual path.
He started learning astrology in 1974 at the age of 22. Joined at Kerala Varma’s Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan & studied Jyothisham for two years. Under the guidance of Mr. K. S. Nair he practiced Jyothisham.
He started writing the Jyothisha column for K.S. Nair’s Kerala Kaumadi. By writing forecasts based on star signs and replies to queries etc in various magazines like Kaumudi, Women’s, Trial, he developed the habit of writing. He won recognition for the practices conducted at Pavakullam temple. Also headed the modification work and Deva Prashanam during the fifteen years of his practice. During the period 1980–96 practiced in the temple room of Raj Rajeshwari temple at Palarivattom. Also served as the Audit Secretary there.
Politicians and film aspirants all come to consult him. His predictions are always true and beyond doubt.
He has won several awards, which can be categorized into Jyothisha Varaha, Jyothisha Ratnam, Samrat, Upadhyaya, Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Ratan, Thennand, Sreeman, Kanakamudra, etc.
In 1991, the Collector Kurian honoured him in a Regional seminar conducted at TDM Hall. In 1984 at Alapuzha Sudheedra Theertha Swami blessed him by giving spiritual award.
